Ain't Seen Ruthin Yet

Now this is getting ridiculous. What is next? Tenby? Y Felinheli, perhaps? Or maybe even Builth Wells? I dare anybody to find a rhyme for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch which at least has a railway station. Still, fair play, this video spoof set to Bachman-Turner Overdrive's 70s classic, 'Ain't Seen Nothing Yet', done DGJ style is actually quite funny

Have a look at this:

Couldn't he have at least pronounced the place name correctly? rather that than the awful anglicisation that he goes with.

Yes, I agree. It did grate with me too.

I wrote a limerick about Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch once...

I invented the Welsh game of Monopoly
But I'm afraid I cannot speak Welsh properly
It would not be so hard if
I'd set it in Cardiff
But I set it in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch you see.

PS DGJ speaks Welsh so I think the pronounciation was part of the joke!
